Mui Νé:  a fishing port

One of the most active and colourful fishing ports in Viet Nam is located in Mui Ne about 200 km north of Hô Chi Minh-Ville. However, it has neither a boat docking facility nor any other infrastructure commonly found in fishing ports around the world.

The fishing boats line up near the beach and then their cargo is transported to the beach using smaller boats or typical  bamboo woven waterproof  boats or by hands ( mostly women, as usually).

On site, the fishing products are sorted, packaged, sold and even consumed as evidenced by the countless shellfish and seafood waste that cover the beach.
